We have just confirmed from an inside source that pleads anonymity that the whole Teebillz drama and attempted suicide is true.
Already reports have gone out that Teebillz who is allegedly going through depression reportedly attempted to commit suicide by jumping off the Lekki-Ikoyi toll bridge this morning after his Instagram rant.
We also got word that it reportedly took the timely intervention of Banky W and Peter Okoye, joined by passersby, to pull him off the bridge and subsequently delete the Instagram posts off his mobile phone.
According to an eye-witness Chukwuma Ani who spoke to blogger, Linda Ikeji, ‘Around past 9 this morning while driving on the Lekki-Ikoyi toll bridge, a car hit me from behind. I came out of the car and approached the driver of the vehicle. I didn’t know who the man was (it was Teebillz). The man looked at me and told me to leave, that he was there for a reason. That he was planning to commit suicide’
The eye-witness continued to say, ‘I thought I was watching a movie. The man held the railing and tried to jump over it and that was when the yellow man held him and started shouting for help. The two of them nearly fell into the water. I quickly joined the yellow man to pull the guy out and while we were struggling with him, one Psquare twin (Peter Okoye) and Banky W joined us to pull the man out’.

Olamide Confirms Lil Kesh's Departure From YBNL

Olamide has finally spoken on the ongoing rumour surrounding the departure of Lil Kesh from the record label.

'Baddo' in an Instagram post today has confirmed that Lil Kesh's contract expired weeks ago as it was a 2 year contract.

Hardly does it ever happen in the Nigerian music industry where an artiste leaves a record label without a fight with the person who signed him. Olamide and the entire YBNL crew are an example worthy of emulation in the Nigerian music industry today.

"Good day guys, sorry we didn't put guys in the loop...Maybe cause we see no point in bringing it up cause family is family business or no business...I signed 2 years deal with Lil Kesh and Viktoh, it ended weeks ago.. But the bond is 007 leave it (James bond level) Don't touch it . Kesh got his own record label now YAGI but still works with YBNL Mngnt. Viktoh is still under YBNL Mngnt too..So worry not. The world is ours for the taken..YBNL #FamilyForEver". Olamide said.

Lil  Kesh also has corroborated Olamide's statement explaining his departure from YBNL via a post on Instagram  "Ok, so it's true that my contract ended about two weeks ago like we all know my contract with YBNL was for two years but that's the business side to it. And did I state that my contract included 3 videos for me and one album? But Baddo went out of his way to shoot about five videos for me. Business or no business YBNL is family and will always be till I go 6ft under the ground. YAGI records is real with the support of my big bro Olamide , YBNL , remains my management for life, YBNL doesn't just produce successful  artists, it produces artists that help produce other successful artists. That's the dream Baddo shared with me about a year ago." the rapper said.

Lil Kesh was signed in April 2014 after his introduction by Viktoh to the YBNL boss. He has since been on the rise, with successive hits gaining mass acceptance.  The rapper also released his debut album “Y.A.G.I”, earlier in 2016.

Record producer Jonathan Hay, who worked with RiRi in 2005, says that Rihanna was “upset” when her latest album Anti sold just 460 copies in the first week after it was given away for free by Tidal.Jonathan, 42, explains:

Troops successfully repel Boko Haram attack in Borno state

The Nigerian military successfully repelled an attack at the 113 Battalion in Kareto, Borno state yesterday April 18th. The attack which happened in the early hours of the day, lasted for many hours.

 

Scores of Boko Haram members were killed while 2 officers and 22 soldiers were injured and have been taken to the Military Hospital in Maiduguri for treatment.

Davido has for a while been showing his new act love on social media, showering him with praises after his new video ‘Eleko’ hit a million views on Youtube. However, it seems someone isn’t happy with the new act’s success and most fingers are pointing to Davido’s cousin, B-Red, who is also signed to HKN.
Although B-Red wasn’t specifically mentioned and hasn’t said anything on the recent drama, but many think he’s the subject of the rant.

Nigerian-born, UK-raised, Oladapo Fagbenle simply known as ‘Daps‘ is a super talented music video director with an impressive repertoire of works. He’s also the brother of British actor, O. T. Fagbenle, and video producer, Luti Fagbenle.
Daps began his career in the media industry as a video producer in New York and London. Before this, he played collegiate basketball at Campbell University and Bellarmine University.
Professionally, his video production career kicked off in 2010 and he began directing music videos in 2012. Although Daps released his own music in 2013, he has since dropped music and focused on music videos.
In his career, he’s worked with American stars like Kendrick Lamar, Iggy Azalea, Rita Ora, T.I, 2 Chainz, Jordin Sparks, and others.
He’s also credited to have written the concept for Iggy Azalea’s ‘Fancy’ which has over 700M views on YouTube. He was executive producer for both of Pusha T‘s album cover photoshoots and recently directed the ‘Double Tap’ video for Jordin Sparks ft. 2 Chainz.
With a renewed passion to contribute to the growth of the Nigerian music industry, Daps says, ‘We have some of the best music on the continent, we have some of the best visuals on the continent. Countries like Jamaica have exported their culture to the point that now they’re a tourist hub. A part of that is the entertainment factor, and people are drawn to it. I know we can do that too. Ciara refuses to say Future’s name during Billboard Music Award nominee announcement

Ciara and co-host, Ludacris appeared on the Good Morning America show to announce the nominees for the 2016 Billboard Music Awards. Artistes like The Weeknd, Adele, Drake, Rihanna, Fetty Wap, Silento, Justin Bieber, Chris Brown, Taylor Swift, Wiz Khalifa, Ariana Grande, Selena Gomez, Future and a host of other topped the list.
However, there was mild drama as she was announcing the Best Rap Artist nominees including Drake, Fetty Wap, Wiz Khalifa and Silento. When it came around to announcing her ex-fiancé Future‘s name, she got quiet – with Ludacris having to step up and say the rapper’s name.
The pair have had a rocky relationship since calling off their engagement in August of 2014 due to Future ‘s alleged cheating, which he denies and was previously engaged in a custody battle over their son.
Future and Ciara share a 1-year-old son who is named after the rapper’s
moniker.
In February, the Atlanta songstress slapped the ‘Low Life’ rapper with a $15 million dollar lawsuit to keep him from mentioning her name in the press.

Obviously, fans will not see anything like this between the former Spanish and French internationals over a decade later, but the rivalry will definitely be still there. How do they compare in Clasico matches? Who has enjoyed the most success? Let's have a look.
From 2001 to 2006, French icon Zidane featured for Real Madrid after sealing a transfer from Juventus. During that time, he won both a La Liga title and a Champions League trophy, whilst scoring 49 goals in a total of 225 appearances across all competitions.

Zidane also scored three goals, and by far the most important one for Madrid fans was probably during the 2001/2002 Champions League semi-finals, when he netted the first goal for his side at the Camp Nou en route to a 2-0 win.
His tactical counterpart, however, is far more experienced in matches between the two sides. Many people have long associated Luis Enrique with Barcelona, where he spent eight seasons between 1996/1997 and 2003/2004 and scored a total of 109 goals in 300 appearances.
But before then, the current Blaugrana coach was a Real Madrid player from the 1991/1992 to 1995/1996 season, where he netted 18 goals in 213 appearances.

In total, Luis Enrique has featured in 29 Clasico matches, whilst scoring six goals. Here is the breakdown:

He has also scored for both sides, with his only goal for Real Madrid taking place in a 5-0 rout of the Blaugrana in January 1995. Four years later, in February 1999, he scored two goals for Barcelona in a 3-0 win at Camp Nou.
In total, the Treble winner grabbed five goals for Barcelona, and interestingly enough, also was on the pitch during the 2001/2002 Champions League semi-final, which, as we know, finished in favor of Real Madrid.

Luis Enrique vs Zinedine Zidane: Early beginnings with the youth sides

After hanging up their boots, both men opted to venture into coaching. As per usual, most managers start out with the youth teams before making the jump to the senior team, so let's have a quick look at how they fared with Barcelona and Real Madrid's junior teams.
From May 26, 2008 to June 8, 2011, Luis Enrique was in charge of Barcelona B. During that time, he oversaw 124 matches, with a solid record of 60 wins, 39 draws, and 25 losses; this comes out to an approximate win percentage of 48.4 per cent.
As for Zidane, he managed Real Madrid Castilla from June 25, 2014 to January 4, 2016, when he took over the senior squad after Rafa Benitez's sacking. Over the course of that period, he guided the team through 57 games, and has an equally solid record of 26 wins, 17 draws, and 14 losses, or a win percentage of about 45.6 per cent.

Luis Enrique vs Zinedine Zidane: How do they stack up on the biggest stage?

Finally, we come to the most important event of all - the upcoming El Clasico match. This will be Zidane's first ever Clasico as a senior manager, whilst Luis Enrique has already overseen three games, winning two, and losing one.
Real Madrid fans were probably not too sad to see Benitez go, and Zidane, despite this being his first season at the professional level, has done pretty well for himself.
As of today, Zidane has been on the bench for 14 games, with wins in 11 of them. With just two draws and one loss, it's so far so good for the retired midfielder. This calculates to a 78.57 winning percentage, which indeed is not too shabby for someone who has only been managing one of the world's biggest clubs for just three months.
Meanwhile, as we all know, Luis Enrique had a dynamite debut season as Barcelona's coach - after all, how much better can a coach do than winning a Treble? Overall, his record stands as 90 wins, 13 draws, and just nine losses out of 112 games, or a 80.36 winning percentage.
Of course, anyone should obviously see that he has managed more games than Zidane, but if one looks at just the winning percentage, they are interestingly quite close.
So, who will come out on top this Saturday? It's currently advantage Barcelona, especially following their 4-0 thrasing of Real Madrid earlier this season, but Zidane, who, unlike Benitez, has actually featured in an El Clasico tie, just may have a few tricks up his sleeve.

Chinedu Echeruo, founder of HopStop.com is now $1 billion richer courtesy of the sale of his company to Apple. HopStop.com makes mobile applications for both iOS and Android that covers over 300 cities and helps people get directions or find nearby subway stations and bus stops.
With the sale, Echeruo is now the chairman of the Board for HopStop which has been compared to Israel’s Waze, recently acquired by Google for $1 billion but terms of the deal with Apple is yet to be disclosed.

A former analyst at Investment Bank and Hedge Funds, Echeruo founded HopStop in 2005. He grew up in Eastern Nigeria and attended Kings College, Lagos.

He later proceeded to Syracuse University and the Harvard Business School in the United States and founded HopStop.com after working for several years in the Mergers & Acquisitions and Leveraged Finance groups of J.P Morgan Chase where he was involved in a broad range of M&A, Financing and Private Equity transactions.
